2025 Accomplishments

15th Ave NW / NW 51st Crossing

• BFG celebrated the completion of the 15th Ave NW repaving project.
• BFG advocated for these improvements starting in 2022.

Ballard Bridge

• BFG started building political support for multi-modal crossings of the Ballard Bridge
• We hosted rides during the Bridge Closure
• We launched fixballardbridge.com
• We did outreach on the Ballard and Fremont Bridge to build community support

8th Ave NW

• BFG hosted a successful block party for the second summer in a row
• Paint and post daylighting finished in 2025
• In partnership with CM Strauss, BFG helped secure funding for durably improved crossings at 51st, 53rd and NW 70th.

Stone Way N

• BFG built community + political support for improved crossings of Stone Way N
• SDOT is slated to start construction in 2026

6th Ave Greenway

• In partnership with CM Strauss, BFG helped secure funding to extend the 6th Ave Greenway to 73rd. This builds on last years extension to 58th.
• BFG helped with the Halloween Block Party along 6th Ave

Route 40 TPMC

• BFG hosted events in Fremont to support local businesses during construction.
• This was a project that BFG had defended from opposition. Not once, but twice.

Bike Everywhere Day

• BFG hosted two celebration stations for Bike Everywhere Day
• 11th / Market - a crossing that BFG had advocated for as part of the Route 44 improvements
• 36th / Stone - continued building support for improvements along Stone Way

Holiday Lights Ride

NW Leary Way
